Required Ingredients: |

Idly rice - 800 gms
Roastedgram (Pottu kadalai powder) - 600 gms
Cumin seeds - few to add
Grated coconut - 1/2 coconut
Ghee - for mixing
Salt - For taste
Oil - To fry |

Cooking Instruction: |
|
Soak 800 gms of Idly rice in water for 3 hrs.
Drain the water and add needed salt and grind it into a thick paste.
Transfer the batter to a vessel.
Take a kadai and fry the grated coconut dryly for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add fried grated coconut, roastedgram powder, cumin seeds and ghee along with the batter.
Then take the batter and make it into small balls.
Now, take a kadai and pour oil and fry all the soodakai balls.
Now, the soodakai balls are ready. |
