moong dal whole which is in green color is very good for health. this kuzhambu can be used for rice , chappathi , roti . |

Required Ingredients: |
|
whole moong - 1 cup
small onion - 10 nos (chopped)
garlic- 5 to 6 pieces (chopped)
tomato - 1 no
sambar powder - 1 to 1 1/2 sp
turmeric powder - 1/4 sp
tamarind juice
salt
oil
mustard seeds, cumin seeds , fenugreek seeds - 1/2 sp
asafoetida - a pinch
curry leaves. |

Cooking Instruction: |
|
-> put whole moong in a pressure cooker and leave it for 3 whistle.
-> then put a kadai , oil and heat. then put mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds , then add asafoetida and curry leaves.
-> then immediately put small onion, garlic and a little salt and saute for a minute. add tomato and add little salt for the tomato to smash.
-> then put all these in the boiled moong and add turmeric, sambar powder , remaining salt and leave for 2 to 3 whistle.
-> after that add tamarind juice and leave it to for 3 to 4 minutes.
-> whole moong dal kuzhambu is ready. |
