Sweet and an all time favorite |
|
Required Ingredients: |
|
1.Raw Rice(pacharisi) - 1 cup
2.Urud dhal(uluntham paruppu) - Little less than ¼ cup
3.Jaggery - 1 cup
4.Oil - for frying |
|
Cooking Instruction: |
|
1. Soak raw rice and urud dhal in water for ½ hr.
2. Drain the water and grind it , finally add jaggery while grinding.
3. Transfer the batter to a vessel.
4. Keep it inside the refrigirator for half an hour.
5. Take it out and water and dilute it.
6. Heat the oil in a tawa (wok).
7. Pour the batter with a small ladle like spoon.After a minute it will raise like pooris and the ends will be like the petals of a flower.
8. Now turn to the other side and allow to fry for a minute.
9. Drain the oil and keep it on a plate that is lined with a paper towel.
10. Transfer to a serving plate. |
